Lily's Special Day
June 25, 2008- Devon's (Bryton) family just got bigger, as singing sensation Jamia Simone Nash joins the cast as his cousin Ana, who arrives in Genoa City with her mom Tyra, played by Eva Marcille. Ana arrives in time for Lily's (Christel Khalil) birthday and decides to sing her a very special birthday song. "It's Your Day" is original tune penned by award winning songwriters Eddie Reasoner and Rebecca Holden.
Jamia may be best known as the young girl who played Hope in the Oscar® nominated* film August Rush. She also performed the song "Raise it Up", from the movie August Rush, at the Oscars® in 2008. Her other credits include: Life Is Not A Fairytale: The Fantasia Barrino Story, The Backyardigans, My Wife and Kids, 7th Heaven and Half & Half.
Eva Marcille, of America's Top Model fame, has also appeared on Kevin Hill, Smallville, Everybody Hates Chris, House of Payne and the movie I Think I Love My Wife.
