Jewel sparkles on Y&R
Jewel will appear in an emotional episode of The Young and the Restless on Wednesday, May 31. The singer/songwriter will perform two new songs, "Again and Again" and "Good Day," at a special benefit at the coffeehouse as family and friends gather on the one year anniversary of Cassie's tragic death.
Hailing from the remote Alaskan tundra, Jewel first splashed onto the music scene with her eleven-time platinum debut album Pieces of You. She's been hailed as "rock's sexiest poet" while impressing the likes of such notable fellow musician/songwriters as Bob Dylan and Neil Young with her acoustic-driven folk music peppered with a rock, pop, country, jazz and blues style.
Jewel's greatly anticipated album, Goodbye Alice in Wonderland, which she calls her most autobiographical work in more than a decade, will be released on May 2.
