Michael Gross is no stranger to taking on famous father figure roles. He has played Michael J. Fox's father on Family Ties and Noah Wyle's father on ER and now he steps into the role of Christian LeBlanc's (Michael) father on The Young and the Restless. Michael will be playing Lowell Baldwin, now known as River. His first airdate is August 15.
In other casting news, look for tough guy actor Danny Trejo (From Dusk 'Til Dawn) to show up in Genoa City as a "Bartender" on August 11 and 13.
Beth Maitland makes an appearance as "Traci Abbott Connelly" on August 13.
"Noah Newman" returns from summer camp a little more mature when actor Kevin Schmidt (Cheaper by the Dozen) takes over the role of the Newman heir. His first airdate is August 13.
