Kate: Out and About
Nancy Cartwright, the iconic voice of Bart Simpson, hosted her 4th Annual Monte Carlo Night and Kate Linder (Esther) was there to show her support. Cartwright is a board member of PALS (Police Activities League Supporters) and she opened up her home for the fundraiser. In recent years, Nancy's funds has helped build a brand new youth center, the Councilman Greig Smith LAPD Devonshire PALS Youth Center. All the profits from this year's event went to funding materials and programs the center, which provides after school activities and motivational opportunities for potentially �at risk� youth. Other celebs attending included Ghost Whisperer's Camryn Manheim and the 2006 World Series of Poker winner Jamie Gold.
Y&R's Michelle Stafford (Phyllis), Kirstie Alley, Catherine Bell, Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston, Kelly Preston and John Travolta were a part of the hosting committee. The event was MC'd by Tom Kenny. Entertainment included country western music with the Cody Bryant Band, line dancing, trick roping and magic by Mickey Silver. The auction included a day on the set of several top TV Shows including: The Simpsons, Castle, American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, Cels from The Simpsons, signed scripts and memorabilia, sports memorabilia, spa packages, jewelry, fine art and more!

Kate attended the 44th Anniversary Celebration for the Woodland Hills Total Woman Gym and Spa a few nights later. Total Woman Gym and Atmosphere Day Spa is the largest full service women�s only gym and day spa in California. Started in 1968,they have dedicated more than 40 years to helping women achieve their fitness, wellness and spiritual goals. Other celebrities in attendance included McKenzie Westmore (ex-Sheridan, Passions), Giselle Samson (America's Next Top Model) and Shari Headley (ex-Mimi, All My Children).
