The mysterious and handsome Australian bartender, Cane, arrived in Genoa City looking for his birth mother. The scheming Amber Moore quickly zeroed in on the Aussie hunk and, with a little research, found out he just may be linked to the extremely wealthy Chancellor family. Amber agreed to "help" him with immigration by marrying him in Las Vegas but when he got cold feet. She slipped him a mickey, disguised her friend Ali as a man and had a quicky wedding. Cane woke up with a hangover and a wedding ring on his finger. Back in Genoa City, Cane finds out that he is Jill's son and begins to integrate himself within the Chancellor family. Tackling the job of managing the Clear Springs site, Cane has stepped into the family quite quickly but things aren't very rosy at home. Cane finds out that his wedding to Amber was a sham. Soon, Cane has dumped Amber for all her lies and has begun to explore greener pastures in Genoa City, namely the recently separated Lily Winters and fresh face Heather Stevens. Just who will win this Aussie's affection remains to be see but promises to be an interesting ride...
