Jammin' with Jamia!
At a tender 12 years old, Jamia (Ana) is an actress on The Young and the Restless, the #1 daytime drama, a seasoned singer and performer and she's doing her part to help raise money and awareness for children and families through the Build-A-Bear Foundation. With so much on her plate, Y&R.com thought we better get all of the details like where fans can buy her new singles, when is her album coming out and what's next for the little dynamo!
When did you wrap up production on the new CD?
"Not very long ago! I love both of the singles 'We Are Girls' and '3 Strikes' by my favorite is 'We Are Girls.' It's available on iTunes."
Have you received any feedback from the cast and crew?
"The hairstylists and the make-up people have listened to it and they really liked the songs. I don't know if the cast has heard it yet."
I heard a rumor that you are working on an album…
"Yes. It should be ready for a late summer or fall release. It is mostly pop. There is some dance tunes and a couple of ballads. I love the different styles."
Another rumor has it that you will be performing on The Young and the Restless during an upcoming wedding. Can you confirm that?
"I will be performing. I don't know which song yet but I will be performing."
