Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) married Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) young. She filed for divorced after finding out he was addicted to porn. Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard), raised in Australia, landed in Genoa City, only to find out that he was the Chancellor heir. After catching the eye of the girl from the wrong side of the tracks who wanted to marry "up", Amber Moore (Adrienne Frantz), Cane was duped into believing they were wed in Vegas after a drunken encounter. Luckily, he found out the truth. What started out as a friendship turned to a passionate love when Cane and Lily bonded over their past mistakes. Unfortunately, he was duped again by Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), who picked him to be her baby daddy, which tore his budding relationship to Lily apart. Later, Cane found out that Chloe's baby truly belonged to his half brother Billy Abbott (Billy Miller) finally paving the road back to Cane's true love-- Lily.
