Summer Is Here!
The Young and the Restless recently cast Samantha Bailey in the pivotal role of young Summer Newman. The cast and crew quickly fell in love with the young actress thanks to her sunny disposition and can-do approach to work. With the recent break-up of her on-screen parents, Summer is bound to have a lot more screen time. Fans may not have heard much about her so we thought we would share a few tidbits.
Samantha began modeling at age 2.
At 16 months, she was performing in local dance shows with her aunts.
At the ripe old age of 3, Bailey won the West Coast title of Little Miss & Mister Hawaiian Tropic.
She is a dirt bike enthusiast.
Samantha recently portrayed Young Olive on the show Pushing Daisies.
She calls her little sister Brianna the "best present ever"!
Her favorite subjects are Art, Science & Math.
