Ronan asks Heather to help him close his case by spying on Chance. Heather, however, refuses to do anything for Ronan. Meanwhile, Chance tells Nina he has a plan to get himself cleared of all the drug charges as Paul arrives and Nina announces that she and Paul have been looking for her other son and may have a lead. Later, Ronan tells Heather that she is going to tell help him whether she wants to or not. Meanwhile, Chance confronts Chloe about returning her engagement ring and learns that Chloe knows that he slept with Heather again. The two have a sad, yet heartfelt conversation as they both accept that they are over.

At the preschool, everyone is shocked to learn that Jana is the school's new art teacher. Back at their new house, Billy is rummaging through some of Victoria's things, looking for her camera to take photos and before Victoria can stop him Billy finds her pregnancy test. Meanwhile, J.T. welcomes Mac to their apartment with monogrammed "his and hers" towels and a passionate kiss, which leads them to making love. Later, Billy tries not to let his terror show when Victoria tells him that she may be pregnant. Victoria comes out of the bathroom after taking the pregnancy test and finds that Billy has taken off. At Jimmy's, Billy sits alone, drinking.

Gloria offers Kevin a job working for her and Jeff at Gloworm working on their accounting and computer systems. Meanwhile, Jana is disappointed when Chloe doesn't come to pick up Delia and decides to call Kevin, who doesn't answer her call. Kevin tells Gloria that he will take the job at Gloworm.

Ronan warns Heather that if Chance goes down it will be on her head. Meanwhile, Chance tells Chloe about his plan to meet with a guy from The Examiner and expose all the dirty cops on the force including Ronan so that Owen won't be able to ignore him anymore. Chloe tries to persuade Chance to change his mind but he won't and Chloe immediately makes an emergency call. At Heather's, Chance tells her that he broke things off with Chloe and told her about his plan so that she would run straight to Ronan and Chance would finally have him where he wanted him. Heather panics and tries to stop him but Chance pulls her into a deep, passionate kiss and then leaves. Chloe is unsure whether to tell Ronan about Chance's plan so she covers and Ronan sees that she is hiding something from him. Later, Heather finds Chloe and tells her that Chance is in trouble and she needs to know where he is now. Heather gets Chance's location from Chloe and calls Ronan, unaware that he is being followed by Meeks.
